Staging is not a decorating decision, it is a BUSINESS decision, and Betsy Konaxis of BK Classic Collections is the best in the business! If you are selling your house and want top dollar quickly, staging needs to be part of your marketing plan. Betsy is extremely talented at her craft. She will walk into your house and look at it through the eyes of a buyer. She has the uncanny ability to immediately assess challenging floor plans and make the house flow. I advise sellers to detach themselves emotionally from their personal tastes, step back, and just do whatever Betsy recommends. My clients often joke with me, saying they no longer want to sell the home after she is finished! By the time I bring in my photographer, the house looks like it should be in a magazine. If your house is tired and outdated, and you do not stage, expect buyers to want a discount off your asking price….It is your business decision.
